4. Can I claim my medications shipped by www.onlinecanadianpharmacy.com through my insurance company?

Absolutely. Every order is shipped with a copy of the invoice which states the medication name, dosage, quantity and price along with shipping charges. You can then submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement.

5. Do I need to send in my original prescription?

Once you have placed your order either by phone or online, you are required to fax us a copy or mail in your original prescription. Please mail your original prescription(s) to us at the following address or have your doctor fax a copy to us toll-free at 1-877-919-7347

6. Do you sell narcotics?

No, it is illegal for a Canadian pharmacy to mail a narcotic.

9. How long are my refills good for?

You will have as many refills as your doctor has authorized you to have on the prescription that you fax to us. The maximum your doctor can authorize is a one year supply.

10. How long will it take to get my order?

Prescription orders will be shipped within 5 business days of receiving your documents (including prescriptions). Once shipped, it will take approximately 10 business days for delivery. OTC orders are shipped within 2 business days. All prescription orders are shipped via Express mail (similar to USPS Priority Mail).

11. How much do you charge for shipping?

Any orders containing prescription items are charged at a flat shipping fee of $9.95USD, regardless of how many items.

12. If my spouse and I order, do I have to pay the shipping charge twice?

No, all family members living in the same household can register with one customer number, and get their medications delivered for one shipping charge of $9.95. However, each patient will have to fill a separate medical profile.

15. What are generic drugs?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, how it is taken, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name and works the same way in the body in the same amount of time.

The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.

Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to invent a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at substantial discounts.

20. Why do the pills I received look different than the ones I get from my local pharmacy?

Firstly, if you are used to Brand Name pills and you have ordered a Generic from us, the pills we send you WILL LOOK DIFFERENT. Generics do not look the same as the Brand Name products, even though they have the SAME ACTIVE INGREDIENT and work in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY. In addition, the same Brand Name pill may look slightly different coming from Canada. For example, Celexa 20MG is usually a peach colored pill, yet the Canadian pill is white and a little bit smaller than peach colored pill. Both pills are Celexa 20MG, both have the SAME ACTIVE INGREDIENT, and both are made by the SAME COMPANY. But, for whatever reason, the manufacturer decided to make the Canadian pill a different color. Lastly, when comparing 2 different Generics, they WILL LOOK DIFFERENT if they are made by 2 different companies.
