- Unless directed otherwise by your doctor, avoid wearing contact lenses while using this medicine. If approved by your doctor, remove lenses before using eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes after each dose before wearing them again.
- To apply eye drops, wash hands, shake the bottle well, and do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch the eye or any surface to avoid contamination.
- Tilt your head back, look upward, and pull down the lower eyelid. Place one drop into the pouch, close eyes for 1-2 minutes, and apply gentle pressure at the corner of the eye to prevent drainage. Avoid blinking and rubbing your eye.
- Repeat steps for the other eye if directed and for doses exceeding 1 drop.
- Apply as directed by your doctor, and do not rinse the dropper. Replace the dropper cap after each use.
- If using other eye medications, wait 5-10 minutes before applying additional medications. Use eye drops before ointments.
- Use regularly at the same time(s) each day for maximum benefit.
- Dosage and duration based on your medical condition and response; do not exceed prescribed frequency or duration to avoid increased side effects.
- Continue full treatment course; do not stop abruptly without consulting your doctor, as some conditions may worsen. Gradual dose reduction may be necessary.
